The Designed by GG Ironclad is a high-end mechanical keyboard that offers the possibility of hot-swapping switches. By replacing the solder with an armature that makes electrical contact, the Ironclad offers the possibility to replace any switch by simply unclipping it and reclipping another one. Not only can you customize your keyboard to your liking, but you can also extend the life of your keyboard indefinitely by replacing only the most heavily used switches.
Not only that, it also has a removable wrist rest and RGB lighting that you can customise to your liking.
Unparalleled comfort
The Designed by GG Ironclad is designed to be as comfortable as possible. Every switch on the keyboard has been lubricated with a lubricating oil to not only improve glide but also provide a smoother tactile feedback. The stabilisers of the large keys have also been lubricated. The space bar with its noisy metallic scraping sound is now a memory of another era. The keys are made of PBT, which makes them more resistant to abrasion. Unlike ABS keys, PBT is chemically inert and does not become greasy after prolonged contact with the skin.
Dye sublimation key lettering is not just a surface print. It is done by applying a dye at high temperature. This hot application allows the dye to penetrate deep into the polymer and ensures the durability of the marking over time. This technique also makes it possible to obtain perfectly smooth strokes, without asperities due to a thick layer of paint. With a thickness of 1.5 mm, these low-profile keys offer unparalleled typing comfort and durability.

The Designed by GG Ironclad is equipped with Gateron Red Mod switches. These are a customised version of the Gateron Red switches. They are factory lubricated and offer superior glide and reduced noise. This makes them the ideal choice for those who want quiet, fatigue-free typing.
