High performance and efficiencyThanks to its flawless design, theEaton 5P UPS allows you to achieve up to 98% efficiency, with reduced heat dissipation, saving you energy instantly! When running on batteries, the 5P provides a high quality sinusoidal signal, ideal for powering sensitive equipment, such as servers with active PFC(power factor correction).
Adjustable tolerance: Users can extend battery life by extending the input voltage tolerance(via the display or software) to adapt the UPS to a specific environment(e.g. generator). |

Easy to useThe new graphical LCD display provides clear information on the status and measurements of the inverter. The 5P measures the energy consumption of the connected equipment in total. These values(kWh) can be managed via the LCD display or Eaton's Intelligent Power Software suite.
The load segmentation feature allows, during a prolonged power outage, the least needed equipment to be switched off to reserve battery life for essential equipment. This feature is also used for remote reboot and sequential server startup. The 5P has serial (RS232) and USB communications ports, as well as a free slot for an optional card(SNMP/Web network card or dry contact card). Eaton's Intelligent Power software suite is compatible with all major operating systems, including virtualized environments such as VMware and Hyper-V. |
Flexibility and versatilityThe 5P is available in tower or rackmount form factors, delivering an unmatched power density of 1.1 kW per 1U.
To extend battery life, the battery is managed by Eaton ABM technology, which recharges the battery only when needed, preventing corrosion and significantly extending battery life. The batteries are hot-swappable without having to switch off the connected equipment. With an optional maintenance bypass module, you can even replace the entire UPS. |
