Smart and practical designThe DWL-6610APE can be easily installed on a wall or ceiling, in an office or home. It is housed in a rugged UL2043 certified fireproof chassis that meets strict fire prevention regulations. This means it can be installed in air ducts for added privacy.
In addition, the D-Link DWL-6610APE includes a wireless scheduler feature that disables wireless operation when not needed to improve network security and save energy.

Optimised Dual-Band OperationThe DWL-6610APE uses band orientation to detect whether the wireless client supports dual-band technology, and if so, itforces the client to connect to the less congested 5 GHz band. It does this by actively blocking the client's attempts to join the 2.4 GHz network. The access point supports up to 867 Mbit/s 2x2 MIMO for the 5 GHz band and up to 300 Mbit/s 2x2 MIMO for the 2.4 GHz band.

Easy integrationWhether you want to use a single access point or deploy a large enterprise network, the DWL-6610APE, in conjunction with a D-Link wireless controller or unified switch, simplifies the management of your wireless network. Using a D-Link controller will allow you to centralise your wireless installation and easily duplicate all access point configurations.
Combining the DWL-6610APE with a controller (D-Link DWC-1000 or DWC-2000) or a unified wireless switch (D-Link DWS-3160-24-PC) allows you to create a wireless network for complete freedom of movement around a building without loss of connectivity. |
