Flexible operation
The DAP-2682 can be ceiling-mounted, wall-mounted or placed on a desk to meet any wireless networking requirement. For advanced installations, the DAP-2682 has a built-in Power over Ethernet (PoE 802.3af) connection, allowing the device to be installed in locations where power outlets are not readily available.The DAP-2682 can be configured to optimise network performance according to one of its multiple operating modes: access point, wireless distribution system (WDS) with access point, bridge/WDS (no access point broadcast) and wireless client. With WDS support, network administrators can install multiple DAP-2682 access points at a site and configure them to bridge each other and provide network access to each client.
