The Cisco WAP581 is different in many ways. It offers a maximum throughput of 2.8 Gbps (AC2200 + N600), which allows up to 200 users to be served on the same access point. It offers state-of-the-art connectivity with a Gigabit Ethernet PoE port and a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port for smooth data traffic.

The 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet LAN interfaces with Power over Ethernet (PoE) support flexible installation and reduce cabling costs. Intelligent Quality of Service (QoS) management features give you the ability to prioritise bandwidth-dependent traffic for voice over IP and video applications. To provide secure guest access to visitors and other users, the WAP581 supports a captive portal and multiple authentication options. It also allows you to configure permissions, roles and bandwidth settings. A custom guest login page gives you the ability to send a welcome message to visitors and display guest access information.
