But from the start I found it too bright with an aggressive luminosity (LED) and I didn't manage to get soft colours (for other LED screens either). It was only after 4 months of daily use and researching that I came across their settings site (http://www.asus.fr/event/Eye-care/) as no instructions are provided and the configuration via the buttons on the screen does not really guide. Being in my fifties and being on a screen a lot (LED since that's all there is now), I've recently started having eye problems, and I'm convinced that this LED technology is really very harmful for the eyes (which several studies seem to confirm). The problem is taken too lightly. I'll have another look at the settings but I would have liked a "health" configuration button guiding step by step according to the uses in order to best configure the screen (comfort, anti blue light filter, etc.). What is lost in terms of vision is definitely lost, unfortunately (I'm not saying it's the screen's fault, it's a combination of factors - age, time spent - but in my opinion the LEDs are an aggravating factor - I've been using LED screens for many years!)
