Perfect screen
Screen for a Mac Book pro M2 that perfectly reproduces the sharpness of the Retina. We can work without any visual fatigue.
The ASUS ProArt PA279CRV 27-inch monitor is designed primarily for professional video editors. This Calman-certified display offers a wide colour gamut covering 99% of the DCI-P3 range and is factory pre-calibrated to Delta E < 2 for exceptional colour accuracy. For added convenience, the built-in USB-C port offers DisplayPort support, ultra-fast data transfers and 96 watts of power via a single cable.

The PA279CRV's 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) panel offers four times the pixel density and three times the screen space of similarly sized FHD displays, resulting in sharper images and greater detail. HDR10 and VESA DisplayHDR 400 compatibility ensures the brightest whites and darkest blacks for exceptional contrast that translates into rich, lifelike images, all to help artists fully realise their creative visions. All ProArt displays are pre-calibrated at the factory using a new three-step process that ensures ultra-faithful colours. The display then undergoes rigorous testing using ASUS' advanced greyscale tracking technology to ensure smooth gradation, improved uniformity and high colour accuracy to achieve a Delta E < 2.
The included USB-C port allows for ultra-fast data transfers, DisplayPort connectivity and 96 watts of power for charging laptops and other devices, all via a single cable. The PA279CRV also serves as a USB hub: any device connected to the monitor's USB ports can access other connected devices. In addition to USB-C, the ProArt display offers a myriad of connectivity options, including HDMI, DisplayPort (with daisy-chaining support), USB Type-A and an additional USB-C downstream port for compatibility with a wide range of devices. DisplayPort allows users to daisy-chain multiple displays from a single video source, improving productivity. The PA279CRV also includes a pass-through port for headphones.

Each ProArt monitor features an ergonomic stand that allows the monitor to be tilted, rotated and adjusted in height for comfortable viewing. The ability to rotate the screen 90° clockwise or counter-clockwise to use it in portrait mode comes in handy when working on long documents, coding or browsing the web. In addition, the quick-release feature makes it easy to mount the monitor via the built-in VESA wall mount - all without screws, in seconds!

Screen for a Mac Book pro M2 that perfectly reproduces the sharpness of the Retina. We can work without any visual fatigue.
Perfect screen for image processing. Excellent colour coverage.
A few delivery issues were resolved thanks to LDLC's intervention.
Very good quality screen. Numerous settings are possible; it does not strain the eyes. As far as I am concerned, the screen size is ideal and it is easy to adjust the height and tilt.
Correct factory calibration. Targeting 120cd/m² at 6500K in AdobeRGB mode, its gamut is almost identical (to within one point on the blues) and largely covers sRGB. The average deltaE reaches 0.34 with 2 patches out of 51 exceeding 1 (1.51 and 1.19 for my model). Contrast ratio around 900:1.
Forget HDR. The backlighting lacks uniformity and a perfectly black image reveals some leakage in the corners. The https://www.eizo.be/monitor-test/ test allows you to "see" what the screen is capable of. Anti-glare treatment is insufficient for photo editing in a bright environment.
Not suitable for videographers: lack of contrast and refresh rate = 60Hz. Local dimming is useless and should be disabled.
NB. For those who encode their photos in 32-bit HDR for uses other than printing, this screen is not suitable. For photos to be printed or for the web, it is more than adequate, even for professional work.
I needed a 4K HDR monitor for video editing and photo processing, something with accurate and true-to-life colours. I'm not disappointed with this splendid 27-inch ASUS ProArt monitor, which can be tilted and swivelled. You can daisy chain monitors (In/Out DP), turn it into a USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub, and its stand is beautiful. It's a high-end monitor that's worth the price.
