I've been using it for a while now, but I'm not sure how long it will last, so I'm not sure if it's a good one. I'm happy with my purchase, but the gsync and freesync is only active on the display port (I didn't know that lol), The screen is in 120hz max in HDMI since I connect my laptop with a RTX3060 I still managed to put it in 144hz by fiddling on the NVIDIA settings and yes it is a TN panel it is not an IPS panel but does the job in addition to my PC which is IPS 144hz what to say more I am satisfied the screen is beautiful good finishes robust ASUS requires. I've been using it for a while now, but it's still a great product.
I've always ordered Asus hardware, but I'm really disappointed.
There are already 2 dead pixels after 2 weeks of use, one of which is fixed and the other goes back and forth. This is unacceptable!
Apparently, you can only have the screen changed by the manufacturer if there are 6 dead pixels in a 10cm square area... except if you have taken out LDLC's 0 dead pixel insurance, in which case LDLC will take care of it. Except that I didn't take the insurance...
I'd rather put this review here so that everyone is aware of how dead pixels are managed.
Otherwise, overall, this screen could be very good!
The screen is very nice, the assembly is very practical and well thought out. I use it for teleworking (covid obliges). But from the start I found it too bright with an aggressive luminosity (LED) and I didn't manage to get soft colours (for other LED screens either). It was only after 4 months of daily use and researching that I came across their settings site (http://www.asus.fr/event/Eye-care/) as no instructions are provided and the configuration via the buttons on the screen does not really guide. Being in my fifties and being on a screen a lot (LED since that's all there is now), I've recently started having eye problems, and I'm convinced that this LED technology is really very harmful for the eyes (which several studies seem to confirm). The problem is taken too lightly. I'll have another look at the settings but I would have liked a "health" configuration button guiding step by step according to the uses in order to best configure the screen (comfort, anti blue light filter, etc.). What is lost in terms of vision is definitely lost, unfortunately (I'm not saying it's the screen's fault, it's a combination of factors - age, time spent - but in my opinion the LEDs are an aggravating factor - I've been using LED screens for many years!) If I give this "severe" note, it's also to make people react, especially as LEDs are also invading public space.
To use G-Sync and a much better refresh rate.
In Full HD with a GTX 1660.

The screen is great but LDLC doesn't overpack it, so the ASUS box arrives as is. I find this a bit limiting.
Functional product that meets the specs described.
I had a scare about not detecting the signal on DisplayPort but in the end the connectors were just not pushed in enough.
Ditto for the DVI connector which provided an awful 144Hz display, and this was rectified by using the new DVI cable supplied instead of reusing my old (either obsolete or degraded) DVI cable.
Once the DisplayPort issue was fixed, I was able to activate G-SYNC.
The screen offers some useful and interesting tools for gamers (FPS display among others).
The disadvantage: none of the presets suited me because they were too glaring, but you can adjust the settings yourself and save the configuration with 3 separate saves possible.
A nice screen that goes well with my desktop, G-Sync compatible (there is no nvidia chip but if I understood correctly they have validated the panel) for less than 300€ nothing to say, sober screen with thin edges! I've only been playing with it for a few weeks but honestly you can feel the difference with 144hz especially with competitive games like FPS etc... I had a 60hz screen connected to my laptop which was in 120hz, the difference was already obvious! But by switching to 144hz, it's incredible this feeling of fluidity in fps like PUBG, Valorant, Apex, R6 etc...
I've read several comments from people who complained about the complexity of turning it on and adjusting the settings but even with a display port cable it took me 30 seconds in total to turn it on and go through the menus, check the settings etc. nothing complicated... The little wheel on the back does the job well, then the shortcuts for the interesting functions are ergonomic and you can quickly find the profile of this screen on the net.

I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to get my computer from you at the end of the year, but Chronopost still has a lot of work to do, especially when you pay 11€ for a delivery.
The screen is very large as expected, the settings are perfect for me, brightness and colours are the same. Wiring ok, cable outlet clean, excellent design. Delivered safely, strong box.
Good screen, good price, received very quickly. 1900x1080 sufficient for me. Response time as expected. Good for gaming.
Good screen overall except that there is already a dead pixel after 3 weeks of use. The pixel is blue in colour so it camouflages everywhere except on blacks, very unfortunate for movies (as it is on the right side). I reduce to 6/10. 3*
I have seen opinions about the colours that this screen renders.
I do not share these opinions. I find the contrast, adjustment, brightness and colours excellent.
Asus is renowned, and is one of the first to offer the G-SYNC at this price (which I have not yet been able to test).
The border around the screen is relatively small, so it doesn't bother the dual screen.
The screen is of good quality, rather light without the stand.
However, if you have to put an arm on the screen, and you have to unscrew the VESA on the back, there are holes big enough to make a screw fall between the screen and the outer shell (which happened to me): It's very difficult to roll the screw to put it in front of the hole and to get it back with tweezers.
Very good screen. Simple design with ok finishing (can do better though). Comes with a Display Port cable (+ 1 DVI + 1 sound), apparently the HDMI cable is missing. The power cable is quite long and the screen settings are very simple. Nothing to complain about, the basic packaging is more than enough! 4.5*.
I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to do this, but I'm sure I'll be able to do it.

After a week :
I still have difficulty adjusting the colours. Without a doc, you have to browse the net and try. It's still too bright in office if you set the games correctly. The screen is too blue and when you switch to "anti blue" you lose quality.
When I scroll through pages (office), the moving characters drool.
When I play games, the yellows tend to be green (I didn't find the right setting after a week!).
The 144Hz does make the game more stable. But the problems do not compensate.
My current older 1900x1200 screen is also a TN but without the artefacts of this one. The field of view is wider whereas with this one the colours change as soon as you are not at the exact perpendicular of the screen.
The finish is lamentable. One plastic angle is correct. The other three leave a gap between the surround and the interior. This makes the screen not quite rectangular and the corners slightly distorted. As the edges are thin, it is immediately obvious.
I'm sending it back and I'm going to buy another 144 Hz brand even if it means paying 150 euros more (with real G-Sync) and a TN panel which gives better results. From 4 stars I'm down to 2.

Fine tuning:
- nVidia config panel: don't keep the UltraHD, HD, SD setting otherwise it stays in native 60 Hz. Switch to lower settings: PC in 1920x1080 and then it switches to 144 Hz.
- For me: brightness 40 (or even less - because very white in office - and then increase the brightness in games), contrast 60, Saturation 50, T° R90, V90, B80 and adjust the sharpness (me 50).
- remove the V-sync in the nVidia settings (not the G-Sync!)
- blue light filter: not good, it messes up the previous settings and I'm not convinced (colour, sharpness). Mode 4 is unusable (all yellow).
- do the Windows calibration
As long as you stay in "Landscape" mode:
In game (AC Odyssey for example) :
- very correct colours
- variable refreshment is great with G-Sync compatibility. No artifacts and it's very very fluid between 65 and 90 Hz or more (Core i5 9600K, nVidia 1660 ti). I see an extra difference with my old monitor. I wouldn't go back. The graphics card is not limited and works at full speed (it gets quite hot and that's normal).
I have to say that I'm not sure I'm going to be able to use this monitor again, but I'm not. I'm not sure how much of a hassle it would be to add a simple manual, but it's not so bad, is it?
I am completely satisfied with this product.

The screen is really excellent, image quality, top diagonal, 144hz which changes life, height and pivot adjustment which offers ease of use, top interface, and intelligent cable cover system. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to take the time to adjust the screen a bit because some settings are a bit excessive.
I have a real problem with the Displayport:
I bought this screen for its attractive characteristics (144hz, response time, 27"..Etc) but also because it is in the official NVIDIA list of G-Sync compatible screens even if FreeSync. But to take advantage of it, you have to connect the screen to DisplayPort.
Unfortunately, after several tries, the DisplayPort of this screen does not work :/
- I used the cable provided with the screen
- Multiple reboot
- Choice of DisplayPort in the screen menu
- I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to use the DisplayPort, but I'm sure I'll be able to use it again and again.
- Plugged in hot
- Put only one cable
- Update a Display port corrective driver by Nvidia
- Update the screen drivers,
- Dig into the bios without success
...in short I really wasted 3 hours testing everything but without result, black screen and no signal.
I'm going to try to buy a new DisplayPort cable but I'm really disappointed with:
1. having to spend again without being sure that it works,
2. not being able to take full advantage of G-Sync because of the faulty DisplayPort...
At the moment I'm using DVI, but it's frustrating to spend 300 euros and not have a screen that works normally.
So that's why I'm not giving it a bad grade, until I find a solution or if LDLC finds one for me.

Connected in display port (to have the 144hz) it took me less than 5 minutes before I found how to access the 144hz on the pc
the screen menu is nice, the little "gaming" options not necessarily useful but fun
a real change since I go from a 22" 5 ms 75 hz to a 27" 1MS 144hz
a real fluidity
I've been using it for a while now, but it's not a speaker, it's a screen :) I've been using it for advertising, and it's not a speaker.
I use it mainly for PUBG, CSGO, Hearthstone(useless for this game :p ) War thunder. so a little tt styles :)

The packaging is correct and it comes with the hdmi and display cords to be able to connect to the receiver.
the small joystick on the back makes it easy to move through the simple but comprehensive menu.
The adjustable stand system is precise but does not have a locking system after choosing its setting so it automatically unfolds when you need to move the screen which is very surprising the first time!
The 144hz image is beautiful and the response time of 1ms is appreciable.
I'm not sure if it's a good idea to have the screen in the original packaging or not, but I'm sure it's a good idea to have the screen in the original packaging and not in the original packaging. ....
I'll take off 2 stars 1 for the shipping and 1 for the blow.

I've been waiting for a gtx1080, but I'm still waiting for it to come out. The response time is great, 1ms instead of 5ms, for those who say there is no difference, this is not true,
The screen was received with a dead pixel.
So I don't recommend ordering a screen from LDLC as they send you the screen in its original packaging with no extra protection.
