Take the plunge yourself!
Using a BOE keyboard is more efficient if you take the plunge: accept to look for the keys during the first hours. But above all :
- try to abandon the old keyboard layout completely
- learn to use all ten fingers to take advantage of the key layout, which is designed to minimise finger movement (using KTouch to learn how to type with ten fingers will prove useful).
I like the small size of the keyboard, which allows the mouse to be closer and therefore limits the gestures to switch between them.
But be careful! If you have to type a lot of numbers, this keyboard is not appropriate. But it can be seen as a transition to OPEN on a conventional keyboard: learn to type on OPEN with all 10 fingers without looking at the keyboard (too much), and then use any 105-key keyboard.
The description says that the keys don't shine. That's true. But the stickers do! But since the goal is to stop looking at the keyboard, it's not that important ;-)
The drivers under Windows 10 work fine. Under linux Kubuntu 20.04, nothing to install. Under Windows, you can choose a driver that keeps the positions of the keyboard shortcuts as they are done on AZERTY. This is an advantage for those who would find it difficult to switch completely.
After several weeks of use + learning, I don't regret my purchase, and I sometimes look for the keys on a ... AZERTY keyboard.
