The CL1008 is a space-saving and streamlined approach to KVM switch technology, incorporating a 17" LCD display and touchpad in a slide-out case that can be mounted in a 1U rack.
Key features:
- Connectors : KVM ports: 8 female SPHD connectors (yellow); 1 male DB-25 connector (daisy chain); 1 female RJ-11 connector; 1 3-pin power socket
- KVM console with 17" LCD monitor housed in a slide-out enclosure with free space above and below for easy access in a 1U rack
- LCD module rotates up to 115 degrees to provide a more comfortable viewing angle
- Standard rack mount kit included and easy to purchase separately for one-person installation
- Up to 15 additional units can be daisy-chained to control up to 128 computers
- No software required: computer selection is done via keyboard shortcuts and intuitive on-screen menus (OSD) with the mouse
- Automatic switchover function to monitor user-selected computers
- Broadcast mode support: keyboard commands can be transferred to all available computers in the installation
- Hot-pluggable: add or remove computers without powering down the switch
- Two-level password security: only authorised users can view and control computers, up to four users and an administrator with a separate profile each
- Video settings of connected computers are automatically adjusted for optimal display on the LCD monitor
- Firmware can be upgraded
