The CE700A is a USB KVM extender with superior video quality and built-in ESD protection that allows access to a computer system from a remote USB console up to 150 metres away.

Compared to previous models, the CE700A system has the following improvements: 1 ) incorporation of 8kV/15kV ESD protection and 2kV surge protection; 2) superior video quality with up to 1920 x 1200 resolution; 3 ) use of inexpensive Category 5e cable, instead of bulky and expensive standard cables, for a cleaner, more convenient and reliable connection for data transfer; 4) ability to detect system distance and automatically adjust gain accordingly; and 5) presence of a custom ASIC chip to ensure maximum reliability and compatibility.

- Operation mode selection button (local unit only): selects between Local and Auto operation modes
- Built-in 8 kV/15 kV ESD protection (contact voltage = 8 KV / air = 15 kV) and 2 kV surge protection
- Automatic gain control: signal strength is automatically adjusted according to distance
- High video resolution: up to 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz (30 m); 1600 x 1200 at 60 Hz (100 m); 1280 x 1024 at 60 Hz (150 m)
- Support for VGA, SVGA, SXGA, UXGA, WUXGA, and Multisync monitors; DDC, DDC2, and DDC2B connections supported by local monitor

- Easy to install, no software required: just connect cables to the various devices
