The TRENDnet TK-214i 2-port USB DVI KVM switch with sound allows you to control 2 PCs and/or Macs with one set of console controls. Manage laptops or desktops that have DVI, USB, and audio ports with the touch of a button with a set of USB keyboard, USB mouse, DVI monitor, microphone and speakers.

    KVM laptop and desktop computers

    KVM purchased to control a Lenovo L440 laptop running Windows 7 in addition to my desktop computer running Ubuntu/Windows7.
    As there is no DVI socket on the laptop, I also bought a DVI-VGA adapter in order to connect the video output of the laptop.

    The keyboard and mouse work fine but I can't get the laptop to display on my desktop screen.
