This KVM is satisfactory on the whole, but sometimes behaves erratically when switching via the keyboard. One of the two PCs is a bit old, which could explain this (USB power supply?). Note that switching via the micro switch works perfectly.
And the delivery was spot on, as usual!
Hello, I bought this product in May 2023. One of the USD cables started to malfunction, then a screen cable, then others. In the last month, it went out of order. Less than 2 years of use for a product of this type isn't much. I wouldn't recommend it.
There is no difficulty in installing this device, just don't get tangled up in the wires, plug them in and you're done!
I bought this switch to make up for the fact that I work from home and have both my work and personal towers; one under WIN7 and the other under WIN10: No conflict, everything works very well, without even needing to install a driver.
A small discreet switch allows switching from one tower to the other without any bug at the time of switching.
I strongly recommend this product.
I've made several attempts to share keyboard, monitor, mouse and audio between two PCs, most notably with an HDMI switch that has never worked well. HDMI is a fickle communication protocol. Trendnet in DVI, on the other hand, worked straight away. The only slight regret is that I would have preferred a two-position button that indicates which computer is active, instead of one that switches between the two without being as easy to find. But, overall, it's a good device, simple and efficient.

KVM purchased to control a Lenovo L440 laptop running Windows 7 in addition to my desktop computer running Ubuntu/Windows7.
As there is no DVI socket on the laptop, I also bought a DVI-VGA adapter in order to connect the video output of the laptop.
The keyboard and mouse work fine but I can't get the laptop to display on my desktop screen.
This may be due to a bad Windows 7 setting on the laptop (I've tried quite a few...) or it may be due to connecting the DVI socket of the KVM to a VGA output.
Anyway, I solved this problem by connecting the video output of my laptop directly to my desktop monitor, which has 2 inputs, DVI and VGA.
So I have to press a button on my monitor to change the display source (desktop or laptop), in addition to the KVM switch button.
Very good product by the way.
