This 4-port KVM switch from StarTech. com combines4K (60 Hz) digital signage capabilities with control of up to four connected computers. It supports resolutions up to 4K at 60 Hz and can easily handle a large DP display for maximum viewing area. With support for HD 7.1 digital audio and separate 3.5mm stereo audio, the DisplayPort 1.2 KVM switch offers full audio compatibility.
Conveniently, it includes a built-in USB 2.0 hub that allows you to share two additional peripherals (in addition to the keyboard and mouse) between linked computers, as if they were directly connected. This eliminates the cost of owning duplicate devices, such as printers and scanners. This DP KVM switch supports PCs, but is also compatible with Mac computers, such as laptops and tablets, using the Mini DisplayPort adapter.
Its front push buttons make it easy to switch between systems and enable auto-scanning. Finally, its hotkeys allow quick access to each system, with each change confirmed by an audible signal.
