I would have preferred a more siliconised and less rigid plastic.
Very fragile interface, so much so that when you close the case,
the PC sometimes no longer recognises the drive and disconnects,
unreliable! Otherwise, it works fine outside the case, but that's not the point!

A good quality product for its price, the box transforms an internal drive into an external drive and protects it. The cable enables fast data transfer. The removable connector means you can connect drives larger than the box if you need to.
After a few connections to a few PCs (I'd say less than 20 insertions/removals), the pin on the USB socket used to power the drive just went, rendering the SATA adapter completely useless and possibly polluting one of my USB ports.
It's the first time I've seen this happen to a USB socket...
Bought this to use an old PS4 HDD, this box is practical and efficient. I am very happy with this one. I'll have to wait and see but the cable looks fragile.
Simple and practical, you plug in the hard drive, close the case, and there you have it, a ready-made external drive.
I wasn't expecting great quality, but it does allow for occasional tinkering with 2.5 and SSD drives, which was the goal for me.

A very well thought out and practical case. The ability to detach the connector from the case is indeed a very good idea, to be able to connect 3.5" HDDs for data recovery or repairs for example.
Very good idea for this adapter with housing. Very easy to install. As the adapter can be used without the enclosure, you can switch from one hard drive to another very quickly. Very useful when working with several drives.
The only drawback is that the cable is very short (about 15 cm) and depending on the configuration, a USB extension cable will be required.
A good little case that holds the disc well and protects it well.

It would be perfect for another disc and would be cheaper and more ecological.

It does the job, the data rates are correct, no untimely disconnection for the moment. See with time if the product holds.
The service is perfect as usual.
Exceptionally simple, it allows in a few seconds for the neophyte to make a bare HD communicate with a computer. You just have to put it in the box, connect the plug, close the cover, and you're done!

Nothing to say, fast, efficient and devilishly original. The top to enjoy in 10s a 3.0 ssd. It's very well thought out. And I'm not talking about the price which is low for the quality of the whole.

I was able to recover all the data from my old pc whose motherboard is broken. My old PC hard drive is now used as an external drive.
The case is very reassuringly solid. Access to files is quick and easy.
The cable is far too short, which is a small negative point.

Using the kit is easy and efficient! The drives fit perfectly in the box, whether it is an SSD or HDD, the adapter can be used separately from the case which is very practical to connect a drive to the PC quickly.

Buy it for mainly testing hard drives, it is really very practical and very well finished and thought out!
I use it on a daily basis, really good to be able to change the disk so quickly without having to dismantle anything.

The little extra is the interchangeable connector, which will allow you to migrate to new connectors such as USB-C without any headaches.
The case is solid and practical, and operation is quick and easy. The disc is easy to put in place and it is well maintained. I also find it very unpleasant to be forced to put a minimum number of characters in this review. The next time I won't put a comment.
The aesthetics is not the asset of this case, it is white and transparent, we see the disc, and it is plastic (hence the star less).
On the other hand, having bought several 2.5" cases, this is the first one that seems solid and practical, the disk doesn't move, and neither does the connector!
It's quite easy to change discs, although I don't think it can handle hundreds of changes (in terms of the plastic that clips). It is also possible to take out only the sata connector to plug another drive directly without the case.
Anyway, happy with this purchase.
