80 PLUS Platinum certification
The ROG Thor 1200W Platinum III features gallium nitride (GaN) MOSFETs, offering up to 30% greater energy efficiency than traditional MOSFETs. This technology allows for better internal organisation and optimised heat dissipation. Thanks to the use of low ESR Japanese capacitors, the power supply achieves 92% efficiency at 50% load, earning it 80 PLUS Platinum certification.
Advanced cooling
To ensure efficient cooling, the power supply is equipped with ROG heat sinks and a dual ball bearing fan, ensuring a lifespan of up to 80,000 hours. 0dB technology allows the fan to stop completely when the load is below 30%, ensuring quiet operation during low-demand tasks.
Innovative features
The ROG Thor 1200W Platinum III offers unique features such as a removable magnetic OLED display, providing real-time power consumption readings. GPU-First mode optimises voltage stability for graphics cards, improving performance during intensive gaming sessions.
