Poor quality fans and LDLC after-sales service
Hello,
I purchased this product in April 2025. After only nine months of use, one of the two fans started making noise, then stopped and restarted repeatedly. I unplugged the faulty fan and ran the machine on a single cooling fan in order to request a replacement, but LDLC refused to honour the partial warranty: I had to bring back the entire unit (pump, radiator, two fans).
This meant dismantling everything, cleaning the thermal paste, going to the shop, waiting several weeks for the repair or replacement, then putting everything back together... just for a fan, with the server out of action during that time.
The quality of the Fox Spirit product leaves something to be desired, and LDLC's handling of the situation (Lyon Saxe-Gambetta store) seems unprofessional: you don't shut down a server for one fan, especially when there are two.
So I have to buy a new fan elsewhere even though it's under warranty.
