Kenwood' s compact KSC-PSW7EQ active subwoofer delivers excellent performance in a very compact package. This allows it to be installed almost anywhere in your car, even in tight spaces such as under a seat or behind a panel. The KSC-PSW7EQ features a 200 x 130mm aluminium diaphragm with all-round micro-step reinforcement and a highly efficient Class D amplifier. Micro-step eliminates unwanted movement of the diaphragm, accurately accommodates all desired vibrations and reproduces the bass sound of music with precision and power. This active subwoofer system incorporates new Active EQ technology with three preset bass curves to handle music of different genres and deliver a super live sound experience. Supplied with its wired remote control, you have total control over this active subwoofer: power indicator/volume control/active EQ switch/frequency control/phase selector switch.

- 1. Aluminium cone/diaphragm: Large aluminium woofer cone (200 x 130 mm) for deep, clear bass.
- 2. Micro-step Shape: The KSC-PSW7EQ features 'micro-step' reinforcement around the diaphragm. This reinforcement eliminates unwanted distortion of the diaphragm, withstands precise vibrations and reproduces the bass sound of music in the best possible way.
- 3. Urethane surround: The urethane surround provides long, linear diaphragm movement for powerful, controlled and optimally focused bass.
- 4. Compact die-cast aluminium enclosure: Designed with a larger enclosure and wider diaphragm for ultimate bass response. Can be installed almost anywhere, including tight spaces such as under a chair.
Wired remote control
- 1. Power indicator: WWhen the power is switched on, the indicator lights up red.
- 2. Volume control: Continuously adjust the desired output level.
- 3. Active EQ switch: When the position of the switch is changed, the bass characteristics change. Select the sound quality you prefer
- 4. Frequency control. Frequency control: Set the cut-off frequency (frequencies above this frequency are cut off). Turn the Frequency control to adjust the balance between the bass from the rear speakers and the bass from this unit as required.
- 5. Phase switch: The tone of the low frequencies varies according to the position of the unit, its orientation and the transition frequency. It can be adjusted by the position of the phase switch.
