Efficient technology and easy installationThe Impulse 4.320 uses technology derived from the Performance Series FD amplifiers. With an efficiency of over 90%, Class D offers many advantages: low heat build-up, low power consumption, low distortion at high volumes, compact size. The amplifier thus achieves an unequalled size/power ratio. It develops 4x55 or 2x160 Watts RMS under 4 Ohms. Comfortable power, fast attack for a realistic and more airy sound, it will transform the listening of your front and rear speakers.
With dimensions of only 17.65x4.6x6.7cm, the Impulse 4.320 can be easily hidden in the dashboard or centre console. Featuring both high level (with auto-detect) and low level inputs, it is compatible with all car radios. Supplied with brackets, adapters to take the speaker outputs from a car radio, RCA adapters for aftermarket car radios and a power connector, the amp is designed for easy installation. It does not require direct battery power. |

Very flexible in useTo accommodate different car radios, this amplifier has a 2 or 4 channel input selector. It is primarily designed to drive the front and rear speakers. However, it can also be used in 3 or 2 channel mode, to meet all the enhancement needs of a small installation.
Each pair of channels incorporates an active crossover to perfectly match the sound response to the speakers in use. The front channels can be operated at full bandwidth or cut high-pass at 75 Hz when using small diameter speakers. By avoiding low frequencies on a small diameter speaker, the listening experience becomes sharper. The rear channels are equipped with an active crossover and progressive phase adjustment to handle a small subwoofer or full range speakers of different diameters. |

Coupled with a pair of Focal ISUB TWIN on the rear channels (3 and 4) + tweeters on the front channels (1 and 2) the sound is very good. For the size and settings available it's quite impressive.
Product installed on original KIA car radio to improve the sound without changing the radio.
In spite of a rather "limited" source, the difference is flagrant, the low register comes out well and the high register is clear without being shrill as soon as you turn up the volume a little.
A small amp that does its job well.
Housed in the glove compartment of a Peugeot 208, it doesn't take up much space. With a Focal AS165 splitter kit it is simply brilliant. I also took the ISO Y connector from Focal.
This is my first car amp and I am pleasantly surprised, the amp is really small and does its job well.
I currently have a 206 with a pair of focal ISS 165s in the front and a pair of focal ISC 690s in the back and it really makes a difference.
The special high pass filter to avoid door vibration in the front is great and with the rear range it is more than enough to get good bass.
I currently have the gain at 2/5 for all my vocals and that is more than enough with the speakers I have in my 206.
Conclusion: For lovers of clean sound it's worth it, it really doesn't take up much space!
