Efficient technology and easy installationThe Impulse 4.320 uses technology derived from the Performance Series FD amplifiers. With an efficiency of over 90%, Class D offers many advantages: low heat build-up, low power consumption, low distortion at high volumes, compact size. The amplifier thus achieves an unequalled size/power ratio. It develops 4x55 or 2x160 Watts RMS under 4 Ohms. Comfortable power, fast attack for a realistic and more airy sound, it will transform the listening of your front and rear speakers.
With dimensions of only 17.65x4.6x6.7cm, the Impulse 4.320 can be easily hidden in the dashboard or centre console. Featuring both high level (with auto-detect) and low level inputs, it is compatible with all car radios. Very flexible in useTo accommodate different car radios, this amplifier has a 2 or 4 channel input selector. It is primarily designed to drive the front and rear speakers. However, it can also be used in 3 or 2 channel mode, to meet all the enhancement needs of a small installation.
Each pair of channels incorporates an active crossover to perfectly match the sound response to the speakers in use. The front channels can be operated at full bandwidth or cut high-pass at 75 Hz when using small diameter speakers. By avoiding low frequencies on a small diameter speaker, the listening experience becomes sharper. The rear channels are equipped with an active crossover and progressive phase adjustment to handle a small subwoofer or full range speakers of different diameters. |

easy to install with my original car radio (just add its "Focal PSA Y-ISO Harnes", if you have a Peugeot after 2017)

I bought this amplifier to install in a Toyota Auris 2017 with the original ToyotaTouch2Go and amplify the Focal IS TOY 165 speakers in the front and Focal IC TOY 165 in the rear. Good quality amplifier (Focal quality is always there). A clear improvement of the sound, gains of power and audio quality. In addition, you need to buy two cables: the Focal Toyota Y-ISO Harness (white and brown plugs) and FOCAL IMP EXT150 I/O (1M50). Installation is quick and easy.
Very compact for the power delivered ! I feed a kicker subwoofer and it is largely sufficient ...
In any case beware of the famous PLUG&play !!! It's not true, I had to buy a second iso focal vw adapter for my vehicle that I had to modify. It's a lot of connections and takes up a lot of space.
Very, very good product for the sound quality, but the adjustments are to be done absolutely before the installation because after impossible to reach the adjustment even visible amplifier. The settings are on the back, so against the wall on which was fixed the amp ... pity!!!
Focal provides an ISO IY-AC connector very well, unfortunately the ISO standard is disappearing in favour of the FAKRA standard. It is necessary to add an ISO/FAKRA adapter connector. It would be wise for Focal to give the choice between the ISO or FAKRA connector option

Compact product and easily integrated into a car, not totally plug and play, for that you have to take the optional and add a hands free kit to adapt to your car.
The sound quality is very good and sufficient for an upgrade of the original system, with a change of speaker.
I'm not sure if it's a good idea to change the speakers or not, but I'm sure it's a good idea to change the speakers.
Will not suit lovers of big bass and big power.
In any case the sound result of this amp will depend largely on the original audio source.
