First Akasa Ventirad for me. The product fits well, there's no play and the cooling is excellent with a very appreciable silence: it's covered by the case's fans, which are already very quiet.
For monitoring the temperature of my proc, this fan really does its job well.
Fast delivery, quality product. Be careful, assembling a ventirad is a bit tricky and requires a minimum of DIY experience!
ABOUT ASSEMBLY: Please note that there is an error in the manual. You may have to screw the round bolts in the opposite direction to that indicated, UNLESS YOU WILL BLOW THE SCREWS OUT!!! If you feel that the bolts are too tight, try reversing them (see photo).
The thermal paste is to be applied yourself (higher than average heat exchange level: 5.2W/mK and -50°C to 250°C, compared with 3.8W/mK and -30°C to 180°C for WE brand paste, for example). Personally, I arrange the paste in an X shape, adding a drop in the centre, which seems fine to me. ABOUT THE VENTIRAD: I'm very pleased with how quiet it is. Even at full speed, it's much quieter than my old watercooling ventirad! (I'm not about to put a watercooler back in my PC, by the way... the pump motor was almost out of order before I realised it, and my processor nearly fried!)
All in all, I'm very pleased with this product, which has been carefully finished. I'd recommend it.
Good product does the job, nothing to report about this ventirad. Correct delivery and installation. Performance is good.
