Thanks to its asymmetry, the NH-D15S fin stack is offset towards the top of the motherboard in a traditional installation. Warning: because of its large dimensions, the fan may protrude into the first memory slot or the first PCI slot on some motherboards (particularly for formats smaller than ATX). A minimum ATX motherboard is therefore recommended for installation of this model.
