    Problem accessing BIOS

    Good value for money,
but impossible to access the BIOS if your graphics card is too old: white screen.
The same applies to choosing the boot OS if you are using EFI multi-boot: you have to press F11 until you get a white screen, you can't see the menu, you have to use the arrow (down) to blindly choose the line you want to boot from and press Enter.
The old graphics card works very well once booted (on Windows or Linux).
Not being able to access the BIOS causes me other problems because MSI's default settings don't suit me: I have to buy a new graphics card because I don't have time to tinker with it.

    Good advice from LDLC

With Windows 10 updates coming to an end and the computer unable to support Windows 11, I took the opportunity to give my old tower PC a facelift. Office, text and internet video activity. LDLC recommended the following combo: MSI PRO B760M-P DDR4 + Intel Core i3-12100F (3.3 GHz / 4.3 GHz) + G.Skill Aegis 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4 2666 MHz CL19.
Result: everything works very well and the computer performs better overall.
This isn't my first LDLC configuration: over time, the technical advice and customer relations service have confirmed the seriousness of the support. Top

    Basic motherboard.

A basic motherboard that's supposed to be suitable for gaming but is completely under-equipped in terms of cooling for the CPU mofset...

    OK card

I wanted a card that wasn't too expensive, DDR4, so I wouldn't have to change my RAM bars. It meets my criteria.
It's true that the bios translation is random and partial, but that's not a problem for me.
