Nice card
In addition to having good performance, the card is rather pretty, it's almost a shame to enclose it in a case.
It's well made, not too complicated to assemble, I like it.
ASUS TUF Gaming motherboards are designed for demanding gamers looking for long term performance and reliability. They allow you to get the most out of your components with a unique design made of robust materials and exclusive utilities. They incorporate gaming features and combine the advantages of new Intel processors with ASUS' iconic design and features.
The ASUS TUF GAMING Z690-PLUS D4 motherboard is designed to accommodate 12th generation Intel processorson socket LGA 1700. It will allow the assembly of a powerful and versatile configuration capable of performing all tasks. Gaming, streaming, intensive multitasking, multimedia creation, it is the ideal solution to design a high-end PC with high performance. It also supports DDR4 RAM, PCI-Express 5.0 16x graphics cards, SATA 6 Gb/s and M.2 PCI-E 4.0 drives and USB 3.1 and USB 3.2 peripherals .

The 12th generation Intel Core processors are a small revolution in the world of x86 architectures, as they are the first to integrate a hybrid architecture. This process consists of combining two different types of cores on the same chip. The first 1, called Percormance-Cores, are dedicated to performance in games and mono-threaded applications requiring resources. The second type, called Efficient-Cores, are particularly efficient for multitasking and side task processing. Together, the two provide spectacular performance and incredible responsiveness for your system.

In addition to having good performance, the card is rather pretty, it's almost a shame to enclose it in a case.
It's well made, not too complicated to assemble, I like it.
it misses the kit of screw to fix the motherboard i am disappointed on this point contact with ldlc in progress
Be sure to update the bios before you get your 13th gen cpu.
It's my first Asus motherboard, I'm happy with it, it does its job.
What to say...
This motherboard is basically deficient.
a nice design, although the ram slots are a bit too close to the CPU and can be generated with a too big fan.
The real problem is the rear USB ports which due to poor reception become disabled when they are too solitcited. As a result you are left with 4 usb 3 ports that are simply not usable...
I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not, but I'm sure it is.
I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not, but I'm sure it's a good idea.
Despite all the software/drivers available from Asus, the following 3 drivers are not available on Windows 11 Pro 64 bits:
RAID controller (Raid not available on my configuration)
Bluetooth device (Works with an unknown driver)
SMS/MMS (Works with an unknown driver)
The Asus software allowing to update the hardware is nothing but garbage. Long registration, useless for driver detection, uninstalls badly and leaves a lot of crap in the machine.
----
No screws came with the motherboard, luckily I had some stock on hand to do the job.
This card, which is very good on many aspects, does not work with XMP profiles, which is for me totally prohibitive.
I installed 6000 MHz DDR5 and it was impossible to use the RAM by activating the XMP, the card did not start and it was necessary to reboot several times to return in the bios and when I managed to launch Windows 11 it was not stable and at the reboot the bios replanted again...
It seems that this is a recurring problem on this brand from what I have read in some forums and a friend of mine confirmed that he had the same problem on the same brand.
To conclude if you want to take this card I think it will be very good if you install DDR5 at 4800MHz, base frequency accepted natively by the processor without XMP profile.
ASUS TUF GAMING Z690 PLUS motherboard associated with DDR5 ,Kingston Fury Beast 4800 , 32 Gb , I9 12900 K and SSD WD Blue SN570 NvME , the PC becomes a rocket thanks to the SSD NvME the SN 570 ,it is an ultra fast PC. Comparative with , Windows 11 PRo with SN570 and many applications , start in 30 seconds having typed the password 8 characters , and the applications start immediately example : OUTLOOK Mails or EDGE ...It is the top with Windows 10 or 11 pro is the same, it is a turbo with the SSD SN570 NvME, It is the hardware and the SN570 NvME in UEFI GPT that accelerates the operation with Windows 10 or 11.(without SSD NvME, it is a snail with a HDD Sata 6).with the SOFT SDRUNO 4 RX in services + SDRSHARP 1 RX in digital, you can surf at ease ... A complete anti-virus analysis is short on the SSD.
I'm not sure if it's a good card or not, but it's a good card for the price of 300€.
I wanted to put an extension card on pcie x1 to have 4 more sata.
I'm not sure if it's a good idea to get a new card, but I'm sure it's a good idea to get a new card, and I'm sure it's a good idea to get a new card. I would like to specify that I left with an OS already installed.
I am partly disappointed with this choice.
If you have a non-EUFI OS installed, the problems will be even more numerous, it is preferable to start again with a clean OS.
Never anything negative to say about the quality of Asus components.
Easy to use, LAN driver preloaded in the motherboard, Armoury Crate that launches automatically after Windows installation to complete the driver installation and the bios update. It's not like we're playing in the same league as other brands.
It's not complicated, in my PC it's Asus or nothing ;)
The most beautiful build quality I have seen on a motherboard.
Very practical with the 4 M2 slots, plus 3 of them have a built-in heatsink with thermal pads ready to use, no need for disks in the case.
The BIOS settings are very advanced and can be appreciated.
In short, nothing to complain about, with an i7-12700K and an RTX 3080 it runs like clockwork.
