A good processor in this difficult period....

The integrated graphics chipset makes it possible to play good games, a bit old and/or with lowered requirements. (for me, 1080p / 30-40fps stable is playable without discomfort)
The only bad point is that the whole thing was delivered in a plain box, so I just wish I had a little "Ryzen" box on my shelf...

    For a reasoned choice.

In these times, when it is becoming difficult to find a graphics card, this CPU, or rather APU, will do the trick if you just want to play for less money without going into detail.

In my case I was looking for a backup GPU "just in case". My opinion will therefore stop purely at the CPU part.

Installed on an MSI B450 Gaming Plus first of the name, so the non-max, with the latest Bios, it works wonderfully well and it will be my goodbye upgrade to the AM4 platform when the need for an upgrade is felt by then.

It replaces a valiant and still attacking Ryzen 2700, coupled with a Radeon 6600 XT bought here, performance runs well around 5600X and 5800X in applications, and this 5700G goes well with a mid-range dedicated graphics card without any problem.

For those who want to take advantage of an 8-core card while staying on the low-power side, this is the heart of the 5000 series, certainly a bit limited by its 16 MB L3 cache, but also logically less expensive, in addition to being a temporary solution to the GPU crisis.

The only downside is the AMD Precision Boost (PBO) which by default will push this CPU to the limit with a temperature that may worry some people, especially with the supplied cooling unit, which can be disabled in the bios of course, but nothing to worry about according to AMD, something I never faced with my Ryzen 2700.

I'm not sure if it's a good idea to buy a new one, but I'm sure it's a good idea to buy a new one, and I'm sure it's a good idea to buy a new one, and I'm sure it's a good idea to buy a new one, and I'm sure it's a good idea to buy a new one.

I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to get the same level of performance as the 5600X and 5800X.
