Good CPU at a fairly competitive price, great performance for gaming.
I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to upgrade from an i3/i5 to an i7 without selling a kidney with the new-generation i9.

A former supporter of Intel for reasons of compatibility/reliability with audio software etc., I am still not disappointed. I'm still not disappointed. Provide good cooling, I was advised nhd15g2, and I am more than satisfied with the result. The price is worth it and not so excessive when you see the level of quality and silence!
A very good CPU at a very competitive price in 2025, because two generations have been released in the meantime. That said, it's still more than good enough for many applications, including gaming (unless you pair it with the most powerful GPUs, I suppose). Personally, I've underclocked it to limit heat and ventilation, and I still have plenty of room for manoeuvre.
