    Upgrade from Ryzen 5 2600 to Ryzen 7 5700X

Excellent processor to replace my Ryzen 5 2600, which was starting to be very limited for gaming and creative applications (Lightroom, Da Vinci Resolve, etc.).
It is versatile with its 8 cores, for a more than reasonable price. Obviously, you will need to get a cooling fan to cool it down, as it is not included.
And importantly, you'll probably need to update your BIOS to the latest version. Mine was from 2018!
Delivery was very fast via Pickup. The only downside was the packaging of the CPU, which was just wrapped in a small plastic bag, with no foam or protection.

    Excellent value for money

This 8-core, 16-thread processor offers excellent value for money, whether for gaming or creative tasks such as video editing.
I chose the tray version, which comes in a small cardboard box with no markings and no heatsink. This version costs around £35 less than the boxed version, which also does not include a heatsink, unlike the Ryzen 3 and 5. Whether tray or boxed, the processor is exactly the same. A cooler costing around £30, such as the Thermalright Assassin, is more than enough to effectively cool this CPU, which runs hot and consumes little power.

    Works perfectly

Very good processor, suitable for a 3060ti. No overheating issues, does not exceed 80°C.

    Good processor

Good power consumption/performance ratio. Coming from a Ryzen 5 3600, you can really see the difference. My graphics card is less limited under Proton, which requires CPU power, and FPS is more stable.
In the absence of an X3D, it's still a good choice.

    Sufficient for most uses

Handles multitasking well and also allows you to play simulation games without blowing up power consumption or temperatures.
In IDLE mode under Windows, it generally runs at less than 20% load and below 40°C.
