Get the job done... Just...
This is the best 8-core processor for motherboards in A520, B450 and below.
For the others, Ryzen 7 5700X is better.
In fact, this processor is an APU without its graphics part, which means that the 8 PCIe lines for the graphics part are lost because they are not connected.
So this processor supports PCIe 4.0 as stipulated on the label... but at x8 maximum and not at X16.
On the other hand, it supports PCIe 3.0 in X16 like the other APU-derived CPUs in the 5000 series.
These days, 6 cores (even faster) are no longer justified, and that's where this CPU really comes into its own, because even though its cache is small and its PCIe bus limited, its low price and 8 physical cores make it an ideal candidate for rejuvenating an AM4 machine.
It's a good CPU for the job.
2 stars less for AMD, which suggests that it's a derivative of the 5700X, and the X8's lack of precision on the box specifications (this is important information).
