    From Asus...

I only buy Asus because I have never been disappointed or had any problems!
This Prime, a range below the ROG has everything you need and its Z590 allows you to take advantage of the PCie 4.0 16x and the M2 PCie 4.0 4x as well as the USB 3.2.
The UEFI bios are clean and clear, nothing to configure if you don't know anything about it, but plenty of options for the advanced tinkerer.
Big heat sinks for voltage regulators, stable current, etc. etc. The list of possibilities is long.
Works without a hitch, first time installation.
    Asus quality.

It feels like we are back in the early 2000s...

not too much of a problem when mounting.
The vertical SATA sockets are not very good for connecting HDDs. They are difficult to reach. Fortunately the tower is spacious, I was able to reach them.

Performance wise, it seems to be fine.

I don't know about Windows, but on Ubuntu 20.04.1, the big black points of this motherboard :
    - Impossible to use the network card without compiling drivers. This is the first time I've wasted a lot of time adding drivers to make a network controller work since the invention of plug&play.
    - Impossible to get sound for the same reasons (and again, I stopped looking, I didn't find the drivers for sound, we use the usb in the meantime). So no 2.1 for the moment.

In short, I don't recommend it for a Linux system
