What's more, each XG43VQ is individually verified by ROG engineers to pass DisplayHDR 400 certification, so you can be sure of a top-notch result.In addition to this, Shadow Boost is a feature that automatically adjusts the darker parts of the images while giving a slight extra exposure to the lighter areas to optimise the rendering of passages in the darker areas.
Comfort and ergonomics
Playing is good, but doing it while protecting your eyes from eye strain is better. To prevent this from happening, Asus Ultra-Low Blue Light technology significantly reduces the amount of blue light emitted from the monitor. Flicker, which is a very unpleasant phenomenon, is effectively countered by Flicker-Free technology, which greatly reduces its intensity and therefore its impact on your vision during long gaming sessions.
Despite its size, the XG43VQ retains very good viewing angles (178 / 178 degrees) thanks to the use of a curved panel; the latter also ensures that each point of the screen is at the same distance from your eyes when you are facing it. There are also a number of adjustments available to allow the screen to be positioned to suit you: stand height, screen tilt or 16 degrees of horizontal rotation on each side.
