I imagine I'm neither the first nor the last person this will happen to, but the screen has started displaying black bands at the bottom of the panel 2 years after purchase. Very disappointed with the value for money because of this issue.
Good product, but after 2 years the screen starts acting up and horizontal black lines appear on the screen, forcing me to contact ASUS for repairs. Choose another model, cheaper and better.
Like many reviewers, my screen started displaying lines. I thought it was coming from the PC, but it is indeed the screen that is faulty. This is not acceptable at these prices.
After 2 years of use, I am now experiencing the flaws of this monitor too...
As you can see in the photo, black horizontal lines appear and stay there indefinitely! It is not acceptable to have this considering the price of the monitor.
I am not criticizing the Asus brand, just this model, which has flaws, and I can see that I am not the only one experiencing them!
To be clear, I have had an Asus 24-inch monitor for 6 years and it has not moved an inch or anything like that.
LDLC and all the other sites need to remove this product!
I really do not recommend this monitor model from the brand at all!
The screen after 2 years started by displaying horizontal lines at the bottom, recently colored vertical bars and then small regular flashes of light.
I tested everything changing the cables, the graphics card etc..
It is a recurring problem with this model, go look on the internet after 2 to 3 years the panel goes haywire and you can buy another screen.
Avoid or buy at your own risk.
