Out of the box, the image rendering is blurry, and with the basic profiles, you'll have to choose between dull colours or black values closer to dark grey, but above all, the backlighting is not at all uniform (a large bright band in the middle and a dark gradient on the sides).
And the VRR simply does not work. At a near-constant 200Hz, I still experienced image tearing and motion blur, despite G-sync being enabled.
