The motherboard was running out of SATA ports and I wanted to move the SSD containing the OS to a daughterboard to free up one.
Icy Box is a brand with a good reputation and this product honours it, quick and easy installation, immediate detection by the system (which is old, it was not won).
Overall a bit expensive, but at least it works perfectly.
Installed to host an SSD to replace a USB stick that was being used as storage for the system on a J34455-ITX based home NAS/server where the 4 SATA ports were already occupied by storage drives.
Easy installation, immediate recognition, and perfect compatibility with a Debian 10 Buster x64, even when used as a boot device (GPT+UEFI).
Nothing to say, except that the price is a bit high, but it is justified when you want to switch from a USB stick to an SSD...
