Well, one and a half years after buying the kit, one of the two routers has broken down completely, it no longer lights up at all. It's not the power supply because the second router in the pack works without a problem on the same power supply.
18 months of life : bravo ASUS ....
For more throughput it is better to have a good cable (or cpl ) between the two parts of the node. For a two-storey concrete house this works very well.
I'm very pleased with the quality of the product and the quality of the service I received from LDLC.
I ordered this kit to water a flat with large metal-filled load-bearing walls and it does the job absolutely perfectly with a very simple setup. I have excellent speeds everywhere - the range is very good (on the main router or the auxiliary - both are connected in Ethernet by the way) with 550Mb in WiFi5 and in the 690Mb in WiFi6. I connected the router directly to the ONT with just one parameter to change in the admin interface (thank you Bouygues for that, simple when you're at home).
The only thing I find a shame about such a kit and at this price is that the only WiFi6 channel is in fact used by the backhaul between the 2 routers, so if you don't connect the 2 in Ethernet, well ... simply no possibility of having WiFi6! for a WiFi6 kit that's really bad! Now personally I wired my flat so I didn't have this problem but I think it was important to mention.
After several models of PLC, to pass 4k without having constantly the buffer loading from my Nas to my tv.
I decided after consulting various tests and opinions on the internet to try the wi-fi.
And I must say that I am really very very satisfied with my purchase, the playback of videos in 4k on the TV is finally fluid without buffer cut and the entirety of my house is covered by the wi-fi (my freebox delta does not arrive).
The hardware is of good quality, the installation is very simple and the application for mobile is really well thought out (IOS and Android)

The wifi mesh has solved all the problems of network slowness in the house and even more than that thanks to the wifi 6.
- super powerful connection
-I've been using it for a long time now and it's been a great help to me.
-I voluntarily saturated the network by downloading at my maximum 400mbps and despite everything no slowness on the other devices it is remarkable.
-The two routers have a strong connection despite 3 walls and a floor. 400mega internet on one at source and 380mega on the other "blackhaul" (so no loss)
- the connection between one or the other router is automatic when you walk around the house, it will adjust to the most powerful with the same ssid and even better it will adjust if 2,4ghz or 5ghz automatically
- I have a 400mbps internet connection on my iPhone 11 which is impressive
-It is very easy to install both routers in 5 minutes
I'm taking 1 star off because I can't turn off the LEDs on the routers (unless there is an option to turn them off) and there is no physical button.
I'm not sure if it's a good one or not, but I'm sure it's a good one.
I'm really happy with the wifi 6 + mesh and it's a real pleasure to have such a network at home I recommend it to everyone without hesitation it's the real easy and hyper efficient solution
