The Aruba Instant IAP-314 Access Point delivers data rates in excess of Gigabit and provides an excellent user experience for mobile devices, IoT devices and applications in dense office environments.
A wireless network ideal for workThis Wave 2 access point features multi-user, MIMO-enabled ClientMatch technology to improve network efficiency and support the increasing demand for device density on the network. The access point features a BLE beacon to remotely manage battery-powered Aruba beacons. The Aruba Instant IAP-314 has 4 RP-SMA connectors for dual-band 5GHz 802.11ac 4x4 MIMO (1733 Mbps) and 2.4 GHz 802.11n 2x2 MIMO (300 Mbps) antennas (not included). |

- Supports up to 1733 Mbps in the 5 GHz band (with 4SS/VHT80 or 2SS/VHT160 clients) and up to 400 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band (with 2SS/VHT40 client)
- Radio with integrated Bluetooth Low-Energy (BLE) technology
- Advanced cellular coexistence (ACC): minimises interference from 3G/4G cellular networks, distributed antenna systems and commercial small cell/femtocell equipment
- Quality of Service: priority management and policy enforcement for unified communications applications
- Adaptive Radio Management technology: automatic assignment of channel and power parameters, time-of-use fairness and no RF interference
- Configurable to provide dedicated or part-time airwave monitoring, spectrum analysis and wireless intrusion protection, or provide VPN tunnels
- Support for additional 5 GHz bands (where frequencies are made legally available)
- Integrated wireless intrusion protection: no need for stand-alone RF sensors and security appliances
- IP reputation and security services that identify, classify and block malicious files, URLs and IPs
- Integrated Trusted Platform Module (TPM) for secure storage of logins and passwords
- Intelligent Power Monitoring (IPM): allows the access point to continuously monitor and record its power consumption
- Choice of operating modes to meet your unique management and deployment needs
- 10/100/1000BASE-T (RJ-45) Ethernet network interface: auto-sensing link speed and MDI/MDX
- Transmission power of up to 4 dBm (Class 2) and receiver sensitivity of -91 dBm
- Visual indicators (multi-colour LED): for System and Radio status
- Supports direct DC power and Power over Ethernet (PoE)
- Kensington security lock
- 4 RP-SMA slots for external antennas (not included)
