AC1300 Wave 2 MU-MIMO Wi-Fi Unified Access Point
The D-Link DWL-6620APS Access Point features dual-band wireless technology, integrating a 2.4 GHz wireless band and a 5 GHz wireless band. The DWL-6620APS delivers a combined wireless speed of up to 1.3 Gbps over 2 bands and supports link aggregation with the 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports to double the available bandwidth and maximize the overall throughput of the access point.
Smart Antennas
D-Link's smart antenna system is a complete solution that combines hardware with an embedded software algorithm. The software algorithm integrated with the Wi-Fi driver selects the optimal radiation pattern for each customer and cooperates with digital beamforming to improve antenna gain and achieve the best throughput. The fast channel and bandwidth selection feature scans all channels and selects the cleanest channel with the least interference in a very short time.
Centralized management
In conjunction with D-Link Unified Wireless Controllers, multiple units of the DWL-6620APS can be centrally managed. This makes it possible to easily and efficiently deploy and manage a large number of access points. As soon as the controller detects the access points, the administrator can send the configuration to them as a group instead of configuring each access point individually. In addition, Radio Frequency (RF) resource management allows for centralized management of wireless coverage to provide the best possible coverage for wireless clients.
