The Aruba Instant IAP-315
Access Point delivers data rates in excess of Gigabit and provides an excellent user experience for mobile devices, IoT devices and applications in dense office environments.
The package consists of five Aruba Instant IAP-315 (RW) JW811A access points for building a smooth, high-performance enterprise mesh network in any situation.
A wireless network ideal for workThis Wave 2 access point features multi-user, MIMO-enabled ClientMatch technology to improve network efficiency and support the increasing demand for device density on the network. The access point features a BLE beacon to remotely manage battery-powered Aruba beacons. The Aruba Instant IAP-315 features 4 built-in dual-band omni-directional downtilt antennas for 4x4 MIMO with a maximum antenna gain of 3.1 dBi in the 2.4 GHz band and 5.0 dBi in the 5 GHz band. The integrated antennas are optimised for horizontal ceiling mounting of access points. The tilt angle for maximum gain is 30 degrees. |

- Wi-Fi AC: 5 GHz MIMO 4x4 (max. 1733 Mbps) and 2.4 GHz MIMO 2x2 (max. 400 Mbps) radios with a total of four integrated dual-band antennas with omni-directional tilt down
- Radio with integrated Bluetooth Low-Energy (BLE) technology
- Advanced cellular coexistence (ACC): minimises interference from 3G/4G cellular networks, distributed antenna systems and commercial small cell/femtocell equipment
- Quality of Service: priority management and policy enforcement for unified communications applications
- Adaptive Radio Management technology: automatic assignment of channel and power parameters, time-of-use fairness and no RF interference
- Configurable to provide dedicated or part-time airwave monitoring, spectrum analysis and wireless intrusion protection, or provide VPN tunnels
- Support for additional 5 GHz bands (where frequencies are made legally available)
- Integrated wireless intrusion protection: no need for stand-alone RF sensors and security appliances
- IP reputation and security services that identify, classify and block malicious files, URLs and IPs
- Integrated Trusted Platform Module (TPM) for secure storage of logins and passwords
- Intelligent Power Monitoring (IPM): allows the access point to continuously monitor and record its power consumption
- Choice of operating modes to meet your unique management and deployment needs
- 10/100/1000BASE-T (RJ-45) Ethernet network interface: auto-sensing link speed and MDI/MDX
- Transmission power of up to 4 dBm (Class 2) and receiver sensitivity of -91 dBm
- Visual indicators (multi-colour LED): for System and Radio status
- Supports direct DC power and Power over Ethernet (PoE)
- Kensington security lock
