AC2200 Wave 2 Tri-Band Wi-Fi Unified Access Point
The D-Link DWL-7620AP Access Point features tri-band wireless technology, integrating a 2.4 GHz wireless band and two 5 GHz wireless bands. The DWL-7620AP delivers a combined wireless speed of up to 2.2 Gbps over 3 bands and supports link aggregation with the 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports to double the available bandwidth and maximize the overall throughput of the access point.
Advanced Security
The DWL-7620AP access point supports 802.1p Quality of Service (Q oS) for increased throughput and better performance of time-limited traffic such as VoIP and DSCP streaming. It is also certified to support Wi-Fi Multimedia (WMM). This means that in the event of network congestion, time-limited traffic can be given priority over other traffic. In addition, when multiple APs are in close proximity, one AP will deny new association requests once its resources are fully utilised, allowing another nearby unit to accept the association request and spread the load across multiple APs
Centralized management
In conjunction with D-Link Unified Wireless Controllers, multiple units of the DWL-7620AP can be managed centrally. This makes it possible to easily and efficiently deploy and manage a large number of access points. As soon as the controller detects the access points, the administrator can send the configuration to them as a group instead of configuring each access point individually. In addition, Radio Frequency (RF) resource management allows for centralized management of wireless coverage to provide the best possible coverage for wireless clients.
