Designed for data centresThe Ultrastar DC HC310 features multi-axis shock sensor technology that automatically detects and compensates for even the smallest shocks to protect the data stored on the Ultrastar DC HC310, and is equipped with RAID-specific features such as error recovery time that is reduced by the hard drive's error recovery processes. Ramp load/unload technology moves the recording heads away from the platters when the drive is not in use and when powering down, ensuring less wear and tear on the recording heads and media.

After my performance problem on this hardware, I finally decided to contact the service department.
After receiving and installing the new hard drive, there is no comparison. I have to say that I am very pleased with the performance of the new hard drive.
I suspect the legendary delicacy of the deliverers.
I would like to thank the LDLC staff for their reactivity.
As a regular WD user with no problems, this is a good thing.
I've never heard a disc so noisy, and in terms of speed, my WD reds
s do much better.
I am very disappointed with this product and I am not ready to buy this so-called professional brand again.
Although my daily use cannot be described as intensive, I have started to use exclusively Western Digital HDDs from the Ultrastar and sometimes Black ranges. The quality is clearly good, these are the only ones I change as I invest in larger capacities. In comparison, my old Seagate HDDs were gone long before I thought their capacity was too low for my needs.
Very good product. Very fast (both writing and reading, a reference in this field), silent, large capacity essential for today's large video files. And above all very reliable, as HDDs from this brand always are (never had a breakdown in 15 years, unlike Seagate...), guaranteed for 5 years. To acquire the eyes closed...
