    Excellent hardware, disastrous manuals and apps

    This is my second RP-AC51, I added it to my network which already includes one. Excellent performance. The problem is in the manuals and apps that help initialize it. The html page that the extender generates does not work, it was written in old code that is no longer supported by the latest browsers. The menus for both Android and Iphone apps don't match the manual and are written in English that would make you cry with laughter if you didn't have anything else to do but tinker with basic hardware. I got out of it by spotting a "plus" icon in the Asus app menu on Android. Not intuitive at all. I had to manually set the extender again when this process should be automated.
    So I'm taking 2 stars off for the lack of clarity and updates in the Asus manuals and apps. Disappointing from the ROG brand.

    Very good repeater. The first installation was quick and easy. After changing the network, the second installation was much more complicated. The easiest way is to make it communicate with the router by wps and then to connect to it on a PC to set up the identifiers (the mdp cannot be the same as the router's :-)
