TP-LINK's RE455 is designed to extend the range of an existing Wi-Fi network to eliminate "dead spots". Featuring 11ac AC1750 Mbps Wi-Fi technology, a range extender button, compact size and one-piece design make it easier than ever to extend a Wi-Fi network.
The RE455 connects to your router and extends the range of your Wi-Fi. This repeater also reduces interference to ensure reliable coverage in your home. It can also operate in Access Point mode to take full advantage of the optimal signal without having to communicate with your box's Wi-Fi, ideal if it offers limited speeds. The RE455 will replace the poor performance of your router or box.
The RE455 benefits from the high-speed WiFi standard with 802.11ac which is 3 times faster than the N standard and delivers combined speeds of up to 1750 Mbps. With this bandwidth, it's ideal for watching smooth HD video, streaming music and enjoying online games. Make full use of the speed provided by the RE455 by using it in Access Point mode. In this case turn off the Wi-Fi of your box, and use only the RE455's WiFi signal to wirelessly cover several hundred square meters at full speed.
The local Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) quantifies the user's exposure to electromagnetic waves from the equipment concerned. The maximum permitted SAR is 2 W/kg for the head and trunk and 4 W/kg for the limbs.

I really regret having taken this repeater based on the comments, they are surely fake .
The connection doesn't hold, trouble with DHCP to provide an address.
The only positive point is that it is easy to configure, but this does not make up for the fact that for streaming type use, it does not hold.
In short, I'm disappointed.
I am very satisfied with your site, fast shipping and the material is conform.

The product sheet states that it supports WPA2. However, it does not support WPA (AES) so it is not secure and all your devices will tell you that you are on an insecure network. It's not normal for LDLC to sell an obsolete product without explicitly stating it in the product sheet. I have requested a refund without success for the moment.
I bought this product after buying a cheaper one that didn't work well. Well this one works very well, better door, no connection breakage, (with the router and PCs/phones).
