My new gamer laptop has poor quality built-in speakers, so I absolutely had to get quality speakers (I also use my PC to listen to and play music).
I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to use them in the future, but I'm sure I'll be able to use them in the future. But their big, big advantage is that even if they are 2.0, the sound is worthy of a 2.1 thanks to the separate bass located behind each speaker and directed towards the back. So you have bass that is diffused through the wall (or other support) behind the speakers.
