These speakers are perfect for my needs; what's more, they're attractive and don't take up much space.
I've never been disappointed when shopping at LDLC.
There is a background noise depending on the sound:
For example, on Spotify, listening is perfect and clear, but on YouTube or during a gaming session, there's a horrible noise even with the sound muted.
I didn't have this problem with my old speakers.
The product is good value for money but there are disadvantages in the long term.
Negative points :
- wired via usb, the cable is quite short
- it turns on at the same time as the PC, even to turn it off
- a voice to tell you to turn it on and off
- annoyance by the crackling that is inactive or active ..
Positive points :
- low price
- rather good sound quality but at times
- low power consumption compared to a sound bar
Impeccable delivery from LDLC
On the other hand, the product itself is pretty cool.
As it's USB-powered, as soon as you switch on your PC you get an "A.U.X. mode" voice with the volume turned up, which you can't remove.
By default, every time you reboot, the volume is almost at full blast.
And when you switch off the speakers (but not the PC) the voice is always there, at full volume, to tell you that it's switching off.
Apart from this inconvenience, the speakers themselves are ok in terms of sound quality/price.
Buy while you wait for a better system, works perfectly and is very easy to use.
