product received quickly and on time, this is my second Logitech Speaker System Z623 that I take, no surprise, the sound is superb, I think that quality price the only top of the top, no problems encountered. installation very fast and no gas factory with the driver & software that makes it work.
I wanted to replace my 2-1 Altec Lansing FX6021 (€155 in 2007, so same price range) because of intermittent downtime. Not an audiophile, I'm disappointed by the sound of the Logitech. It gives me the impression that the sound of the satellites is muffled in certain frequencies, that they are much more directional (I really have the feeling of having the 2 satellites in front of me), that they give a much less immersive feeling.
Voices are less pleasant. The Logitech satellites are supposed to be more powerful, but when I turn up the volume (e.g. to listen from my bed) I find the sound even less pleasant.
Perhaps it was also a question of habit? I've just spent a month with the Logitech, have just done a test alternating between the two and prefer the Altec Lansing.
The speakers arrived quickly, as soon as they were unpacked they caught my eye, a technological feat, sleek, powerful, and THX certified sound.
The price is really great, received on time, from Great Music to Techno it's amazing, it's important to set up your PC Audio properly, and of course to have a good quality Music Source, that's obvious, a 'treat' and a big thank you to LDLC who is really a serious company.
Very good 2.1 kit and good value for money for top of the range. Just a little information: the rca cable to connect to a TV or an amp is not included. So to sum up I am very satisfied.
