I've just got it up and running and it's just what I need for properly amplified sound in a compact product. To be able to move the bar, the original cables are too short and, what's more, they seem quite fragile. So I used longer, stronger cables.
I'd recommend it because, for me, it does everything it's supposed to do. It's practical and has good sound. How I use it: I take my laptop with me and work in groups of 3 to 10 people, for singing or music software.
I'm very happy with it. Good sound, decent battery life (several hours), rechargeable via the USB port (which is handy), small size (easy to carry) and good looks.
Once fully charged, you have to disconnect it from the USB port, otherwise it makes a little whistling noise. Given its autonomy, this isn't a problem. I'd recommend it to my choir mates.
The first one was a gift. I'm ordering a second one for myself for use at meetings. I will certainly post another comment later.
