I bought this keyboard to follow up on my previous purchase, which I quickly returned because of the noise: a Logitech G512SE (switch blue). The conclusion is clear: the keyboard is more expensive but the comfort is better! Noise reduction, adjustable and non-aggressive lighting, stronger power cord, efficient multimedia keys (although the volume off key is a bit difficult to access) and responsiveness!
If you do office work and a bit of gaming (probably won't replace a red switch keyboard, which is supposed to be more responsive), this is a very good product and I can only recommend it!
Excellent product, high quality and very nice finish. It is robust, easy to use and comfortable. The plus is the RGB configuration directly accessible from a combination of keys.
I use it every day, for gaming, instant messaging and coding. A real treat.
The only downside is the length of the wrist rest. A few centimetres more wouldn't have hurt. It does the job though ;)
Very good keyboard ! Not easy to find such a good full size QWERTY keyboard! (I spend a lot of time in the English-speaking world, so maybe my eyes are biased?) But this MK750 meets all my girlfriend's expectations. The RGB works very well, it is bright and visible even in daylight. The soft cooler master is as easy to use as ever and allows up to 4 profiles to be accessed by macro on the fly, very handy when she changes applications regularly. The wrist rest is comfortable and very easy to place/remove, the gel is rigid as it should be.
It may be missing some dedicated macro keys, but this absence allows it to keep a very sober look that will accompany gaming sessions as well as meetings with a client without standing out.
One last little extra that was a must for the new keyboard: the handy detachable USB-C cable, with three grommet outlets to run it through the middle, right or left, depending on the other cables on the desk.
Keyboard that perfectly meets my geeky expectations:
-beautiful LED lighting with several modes
-MX brown switches that are very pleasant to play and type on
- Interesting design of the keyboard, because when turned off, it looks like a simple office keyboard, which does not stigmatize it, except when you turn it on of course ^^
NB: MX Brown version, mostly office use (word processing + code) and a minority of MMORPGs.
I went from a steelseries membrane keyboard to this coolermaster and the difference is obvious. Despite us, we end up finding all membrane keyboards rather lame and uncomfortable in comparison! The MX Brown switches are very pleasant, relatively noisy but much less than the MX Blue (tested on a Razer Blackwidow). However, the activation force is still quite strong, so I'd better warn you. After all, it's the first mechanical keyboard I've used in my daily life... I guess you get used to it. The "tactile" feeling is really what I was looking for and here I am not disappointed. In itself the sober keyboard (no outline) is very nice visually. The surface mounted switches mean that dust can quickly get in between the keys... and the keys mark quite quickly (the only reason for the 9/10). The whole thing looks rather robust, but it's still a keyboard. I'm not going to beat our brains out on it either. The backlighting is powerful and the customization possibilities are numerous without being insane (less compared to the Razer Synapse or the Logitech G) but for an ambient light and use in darkness it is impeccable. The wrist rest is really nice and is a real plus. The same goes for the media buttons, which I would have missed on other models.
I would recommend it for those who want to avoid the romer-G switches, those who are looking for an alternative to Ducky and those who want a comfortable typing experience.
