With the StarTech.com SDOCK1EU3P, you can get the most out of your 2.5" and 3.5" SATA HDD/SSDs by securely erasing the contents without the need for a computer connection. This dock also functions as a single bay docking station with a transfer rate of 5 Gb/s. Equipped with a USB 3.0 and RS-232 port, it will prove to be efficient and complete.
Safely erase your disksThe SDOCK1EU3P standalone eraser uses industry-recognised modes for safe cleaning, disinfection and erasing. It can accommodate a 2.5" or 3.5" SATA HDD or SSD as well as IDE, mSATA and M.2 drives with a compatible adapter.
This station offers 9 erase modes (fast, single or multi-pass overwrite, custom, secure, etc.) for use in any situation. In addition, via an RS-232 port, you can connect a printer to print a receipt of the procedure. This model also functions as a single-bay docking station with 5 Gb/s performance (USB 3.0). |
