    Without even having plugged it in, the device smells like the bottom of the range. Given the price, I wasn't expecting goldsmithery, but still!
    I'm not sure I'd recommend this product because of the protective flap that bends under the effect of the springs, the power button that doesn't lock if it's not pressed properly and the smallness of the cables supplied.

    This product is really good quality. I use it mainly on GNU/Linux distribution ( Fedora SilverBlue ) to make backups or for installations. I have done about twenty transfers without any problem.
    On the other hand, there are some problems that do not affect the use of the product.

    Firstly, the USB 3.0 cable supplied is really short and the only place I can put it is on the top of my tower. Secondly, there is no cover on the connector so dust gets in (so you have to remember to clean it well or cover it). Finally, the plastic of the flip-top is a bit fragile (traces of wear due to repeated rubbing of the 3.5" disks).
