This is the second one I've bought after the 1st five years ago. Daily use is no problem for both, even if some discs do 'float' a little in their slots.

I've been using this dock intensively for 6 months now, both to read 3.5 and 2.5 HDDs on my PC and to clone disks between them (1TB 2.5 system disk). Fast, no unhooking, no heating up, practical and functional status indicators...), it's a zero defect for this very simple but complete and reliable dock.
Recognised by Windows 10, it recognises my 20TB hard drive, usb cable a bit short, I've already had one from LDLC for years, it looks just like it, which is why I chose this model, as the LDLC brand is no longer on sale. It's a shame it's grey and black and not all black.
It allows me to read my 4TB disks compared to my old usb 2 dock which was limited to 2TB. I believe it reads up to 6TB per slot (to be checked).
I'm very happy with it.

The power consumption is adapted to the output of most USB connections.
I bought this product and received it in a completely damaged box. I have just tried to use it but none of the LEDs light up. I would like to exchange it with the same product but it works.

Very bad.
Unreliable, just lost 2TB of data. Bought on 31/07/21, plugged in about 10 times. Didn't work after 5 months.
A shame.
Really plug and play,
the disks in both locations are visible under Windows and access is very simple.
Cloning is very easy and fast (test with 240GB ssd to 480GB)
Just don't forget to unplug the usb cable.
The cloning button is protected by a timer.
I used this station to change the HDD on my son's ps4 following the Sony procedure. I was able to use it for 6 hours in a row between retrieving the files from the console and injecting them into the new HDD. No problems in dock will remain the cloning test.
The only drawback is that if two disks are present, the cloning button can be pressed accidentally and generate an unplanned cloning. The only downside is that if there are two disks, the cloning button can be pressed accidentally and generate an unintended cloning. A little security on the long press on the cloning button would be welcome (button behind a cache, switch behind, ...).Another point to note: disk 2 must be of higher capacity than disk 1 in case of cloning (it is not a recopy of a partition, it is indeed a copy of the same disk)
