In my case I bought the be quiet ventirad Dark rock slim
For my ryzen 7 5800x processor and it does enough to cool it.
Good value for money for what I use it for.
Bought to cool a Ryzen 7 5800X3D mounted on an Asus ROG X570 I Gaming in a NZXT H210, everything went perfectly.
Mounted in Push-Pull mode with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaute, my processor runs between 40 and 50°C on the desktop, rises to 60/65°C when gaming and reaches 80°C after 1 hour of OCCT and manages to maintain 4.5 GHz at all times. This is more than adequate for my purposes.
The ventirad noise is fairly low and is quickly covered by the graphics card ventilation, which suits me fine.

Very good fan, cools very well. What's more, it's good value for money, but having said that, the final assembly was a bit laborious: the rods for fixing the fan were a bit difficult to fit. It's easier on a Noctua.
This little Dark Rock Slim, in push-pull configuration at home with a second Silent Wings 3, straddles a Ryzen 7 5800X in a well-ventilated case (Factal Meshify Compact).
Well, against all expectations given the tiny size of the machine, it manages to contain the 5800X perfectly, despite its reputation for temperatures worthy of the Sahara in its basic configuration.
By applying a few basic improvements (undervolt in particular), this little tower is more than at ease, all in remarkable silence thanks to the excellent Silent Wings 3.
It fully deserves its Dark Rock name, and has nothing to be ashamed of when compared with its big non-slim brothers!
Very good fan, cools well on an Intel I5 13600-KF, fast delivery and no problems with the product.
Used on an i5-13400, with Noctua NT-H2 thermal paste.
Relatively low temperatures, even in high use, I rarely exceed 50 degrees (the case helps a lot too, it's a BeQuiet ! 500DX )
It's not cheeky, it does its job.
It's easy to assemble and connect, but always take care when assembling it, as with any part. The fact that it can be used with any processor, whether Intel or AMD, is a plus. I recommend it, provided your processor does not exceed 180W TDP.
Note that this may change over time.

On the hardware side, this ventirad has totally changed my configuration which was going up in extreme temperatures (it replaces the original ventirad amd Wraith Stealth). I added a second fan pwm Be Quiet for a top efficiency. I have to say that it also forced me to change my case because mine didn't close anymore which also improved my cooling! And yes, be careful, it's almost 160mm! (but it was well written on the card, it's my fault!)
I finally lost more than 30 degrees by combining this ventirad and a bigger and better ventilated case on the same test (Benchmark) so I'm very satisfied.
The fan is quite quiet when playing (and therefore heating). When not in a gaming session, it cannot be heard, which is quite incredible. The delivery was faster than advertised and well packaged.
Good quality, good cooling and really 0 noise. I highly recommend it for the price/performance ratio.
With my µ 11400 65W is more than enough and 0 noise! What more could you ask from a German design! A guarantee of goodness!
I bought this fan to replace the included INTEL Laminar RM1 on an Intel Core i5-12600 (box version). For a question of silence, rendering and efficiency (not wanting to go for a watercooling solution either), this DARK ROCK SLIM bears its name well... SLIM. It can handle a TDP of 180W, which is quite sufficient considering that the TDP of my processor is 65W, going up to 117W max in Turbo mode (thanks to the 12th generation). To give an idea, 34°C for the processor whose frequency is 3.3Ghz, FAN at 670RPM in office for a room at 22°C. A pipette of thermal paw is supplied with just the right amount. Beware of the paint peeling off the heatsink if you want to change the fan positioning. This fan is not compatible with socket LGA 1700 by default. Quiet even in high mode, but the Silent 601 case also helps to reduce the noise.
The first thing I liked about this CPU cooler was the assembly which was quite simple and above all well explained! Then after having done several stress tests on my CPU (Ryzen 5 3600) I never exceeded 75°C, which is quite good from what I could see on the internet.
Produces a fairly low sound when running so not disturbing. It just fits in a Cooler Master Q300L case (AM4 proc support).
There is quite a lot of pressure on the processor when you tighten the screws, I didn't dare to go all the way.
My 10400f stays cool (62 occt or -60c in normal use).as efficient as an AiO 120mm, probably quieter and 30% cheaper, my choice was quick.one point to take into account, it is bulky.
I'm back here to add to my previous opinion and to point out a defect that I noticed during the installation, an angle of 10 degrees with the vertical of the rad, to the right. I was not bothered by this at the time, I even thought it was normal since the CPU flow is slightly upwards, and on my Be Quiet Pure Base 500DX case the rear extraction is a little higher than the fan.I have contacted LDLC and have been assured that the package was undamaged upon receipt and that it is probably a manufacturing issue that is eligible for warranty. But LDLC refused to take charge, not cool. I decided not to blindly follow the advice I received which was to rectify the rad by drilling. I have been sent back to the manufacturer hoping to get them to take care of it, or to find a less homemade repair solution.
Bought this to replace the fan that came with my AMD Ryzen 7 2700X, which was a bit too noisy for me. It does the job well, much quieter at near rest and much quieter under full load. I also gained about 10C at rest as well as when charging. Good buy, so see how it performs over time.

I've been using a "Cooler Master Hyper TX3i" with a "Noctua NF-A9 PWM" fan (which did the job well and in their own time), this model from "be quiet!"; and the result is good but not great.> Mounted on an "old" i7-4790K CPU with "Arctic MX-4" thermal paste, the dissipation capacity is overrated, and I doubt it can handle a TDP of 180W. Here are the results (on a TDP of 88W and then 100W): - 88W TDP: Without OC (4 cores 4Ghz), the CPU goes up to 70C max. 100W TDP: With a small OC (4 core 4.5Ghz stable), the temperature rises to 85/89C under full load - The fan is run at maximum speed 24/24h, and it doesn't make a single noise - The assembly is done by taking its time and with delicacy. However, with the instructions, there is nothing complicated to do (don't make a mistake on the assembly parts between "Intel" and "AMD").think also that you will have to completely take the motherboard out of the case (it's better but not obligatory), to assemble this 620gr ventirad; it's quite imposing...! In short, even to make a "small" OC, this ventirad is not bad, but not at the top. I had to go through LDLC's technical service to be advised...!??
The performance was great on a Ryzen 3 5600X which went from 62 degrees idle to 42 degrees, under load from over 95 degrees under FS2020 to under 80 degrees (I used the thermal paste supplied by Be Quiet). Easy to assemble in less than 10 minutes, if you want to assemble it without taking the CM out of the case, make sure you have access to the backplate in your case.
The product was fine, but the delivery was just awful.
When the delivery was launched, nothing was displayed on the site, and it was only when the delivery man apparently passed by (without ringing the doorbell and leaving) that an hour later the delivery company informed me that there had been an attempted delivery while I was at home from morning to evening, The second time, the delivery man rang the phone, I barely had time to answer when he got back in his car and left (the site of course always late concerning the movements of the parcel, and the 3rd time the delivery man came by he didn't ring again, he almost left.. fortunately my neighbour intercepted him and asked him to wait, my neighbour rang me and I got my parcel... the delivery man said ''well, there is your name? goodbye'' in two seconds.... you could see that he didn't give a damn about delivering the parcel as it should be... and moreover having paid for my part 15euros the delivery :/

It's supposed to be quiet and efficient, it is. But then again, it's really... big. Mini-case owners should not use it, it really takes up a lot of space. Very good ventirad otherwise!
This fan is for a Ryzen 7 3800X processor mounted on a CM Aorus B550 Pro AC.
I bought this model rather than the Dark Rock 4 because the Dark Rock 4 is announced by Be Quiet as being a source of limitation for the placement of memories on the CM I chose.
I could have taken the PRO version which seems to be compatible but it is huge and I was still afraid of compatibility problems with the CM.
This fridge keeps its promises. It is advertised as being able to cool a processor with a TDP of 180W, and that's what it does!
In practice, the 3800X's idle temperature is 50°C with peaks of 55°C when the processor goes into boost.
During my stress tests, the temperature rose to 88°C (close to 90°C). At this temperature, the 8 processor cores keep their boost frequency of 4.5GHz (no throttle observed) and the processor consumption is 130W.
In the end, the system remains perfectly functional but I would have liked to see 4 or 5°C less since the fan is announced for a TDP of 180W whereas the processor only consumes 130W when running at full speed.
This is the reason for the 7 stars.
Otherwise, the fan is quite large and quiet.
For the chosen CM, it was either that or a much bigger fan. As the system is functional and stable, I will continue with this fridge for the time being.
To begin with, the assembly must be done with care and take its time without rushing. It requires delicacy I think.

It is very imposing once in place and it does its job perfectly in a golden silence. I am very happy with it.
I mounted this ventirad on an i5-9600K, allowing me to run at around 30°C idle and 50°C under load!
As for the noise, nothing to report, it never exceeds 1000 rpm and is invisible in the tower.
Special mention to the mounting system which ensures a perfect maintenance of the ventirad against the processor! (beware the beast is still over 600 grams)

The fan doesn't make a sound, I can hear my cat purring next to it!
This "little" vantirad allows my i7 9700KF to be cooled PERFECTLY. At rest, the temperature does not exceed 26°C, and under load, I have never seen my processor rise above 57°C.

Chosen to replace the stock fan (Wraith Stealth) of an AMD Ryzen 5 3600, I am not disappointed as it is extremely quiet. The dissipation capacity is overestimated but I prefer it as I gain in silence and temperature during intense use of the proc.
Placed in a "be quiet! Pure Base 600 Window Black" case, its black aesthetic is perfect. Make sure you check the size of your case because the radiator is quite high!
The assembly is relatively easy, the claw system is perhaps not the most practical but I had no major difficulty for the assembly of the fan.
Ultra quiet for cooling a Ryzen 7 3700X.
I recommend it without any problem.
On the other hand it is imposing so check that it will fit in your PC.
